• The CTF is open to everyone. However you are only elegible for prizes if all your team's members are currently enrolled in a portuguese higher education institution.
• The teams will be composed of 3 members. The competition is limited to 15 teams.
• This will be an in-person CTF. It will take place at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto in a room that will be later announced via e-mail sent to all enrolled participants.
• The competition will be held October 28th from 10:00h to 18:00h.
• Flags will have the following format: SINFCTF2023{some_lowercase_ascii_text_here}
• Prizes will be awarded to the three teams with the highest score at the end of the CTF. In the case that two or more teams finish the competition with the same score, the time at which the last flag was submitted will be used to determine the winner.
• The prizes will be handed over at the closing ceremony of SINF 2023, held on October 31st at 17:30
• Attacks against the infrastructure of the CTF (website and challenges) will not be tolerated. These attacks include denial-of-service (DOS), floods, DNS poisoning, ARP spoofing, MITM, and others. Participants who do not respect this rule will be disqualified.
• Interfering with other teams' problem-solving ability, including spying, eavesdropping, distracting, etc., will result in team disqualification. Sharing flags, exploits, and tips during the CTF is strictly forbidden.
• Be respectful to all the competitors. Inadequate comments will not be tolerated.
• Wrongfull or ill-intended behaviour will result in deduction of points on your SINF website profile and might result in disqualification.

The 3 teams with the highest scores will receive the following prizes:

• 1st place: 100€ FNAC offer card (per team member)
• 2nd place: 75€ FNAC offer card (per team member)
• 3rd place: 50€ FNAC offer card (per team member)
